Baseball is the great American pastime, or at least was, and there are still millions of children who love sports and like to watch the game. Here is a list of movies, such as family and children's films, classified this center around a baseball theme.
Before purchasing one of these movies for your kids or as a gift for a child, be sure to check the reviews or watch the film to ensure that it is consistent with your family values.

1 The Perfect Game

April Based on a true story, The Perfect Game cinemas 16, 2010., The film tells the story of a ragtag group of boys from Monterrey, Mexico to overcome all odds and under the guidance of Cesar, an aspiring Major League Coach of discrimination defeated, all the way to the Little League World Series. Boys great game made history in real life, and now to see the exciting adventures in this film with Clifton Collins Jr., Cheech Marin, Jake T. Austin, Patricia Manterola, Moises Arias. (Rated PG)

February. Each Hero (DVD, 2006)

Each hero
This rate was comforting healthy family originally by the late Christopher Reeve (Superman) and reflects a theme of perseverance against all odds, who can learn the whole family. Located in the Great Depression in New York, the film follows a baseball fanatic Yankee 10 years Irving (Jake T. Austin) expresses, Babe Ruth bat that is lost, and aims to give something back. Rated G.

The Sandlot 3 Heading Home (DVD, 2007)

Heading Home is the third part of the Sandlot Tommy. Santorelli (Luke Perry) is perhaps one of the greatest baseball, but it's not a team player series. A trip back in time to the sun teaches you a lesson about doing the right thing, no matter what. Rated PG for language and rude humor.

April. De Sandlot (DVD, 2005)

It's 1962, and young Scotty Smalls has just moved into town. When he sandlot his first home run in, his stepfather's ball, signed by Babe Ruth hits, ends up in the face next to "The Beast," a dog rumored once to have a child, ate package. Children have discovered many adventures and unexpected results in their efforts to get the ball back before Smalls stepfather missing. Rated PG for language and kids chewing snuff. (The Gift Edition also comes with the Sandlot 2, which have the list of the best baseball movies not make it.)

5 Angels in the Outfield (DVD, 1994).

Down and out California Angels are bad. When 11-year-old foster child, Roger, hears his drifter Dad sardonically compare the possibilities of family reunification, the chances of winning the pennant Engel, Roger makes a promise and truth. That night, he prays for the success of the Angel, and in response, a star winks at him with the promise of baseball faster than the speed of light and the player is able to jump tall buildings a single image. Rated PG for mild violence and vulgarity.

6 Rookie of the Year (DVD, 1993)

Henry Rowengartner is a small player in the league 12 years, whose love for baseball is much higher than the value in the field. Everything changes, however, after Henry broke his arm during one of his little league games. When his arm heals, Henry discovered that he magically transforms into a machine untenable since. Suddenly the boy was awkward time pitching for the Chicago Cubs and everyone wants a piece of the action. Rated PG for some acts of comic violence, some swearing and some mild vulgarity.
