Green eggs and ham, anyone? This weekend (March 2) is Dr. Seuss's birthday. Celebrate Seuss. By reading some books and / or television performances of his fabulous stories
Our favorite story is Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas, but since the holiday season is probably to some of his more stories like Horton Hears a Who and read The Lorax and some short and funny anecdotes. Many of the stories are silly rhymes available on the cartoon version on DVD, and some have to be theatrical version in full length, Horton hears a Who and The Lorax included.

On Monday and next week, PBS KIDS birthday of Seuss celebrates with new episodes of the educational program for preschoolers The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about him. Famous Cat stars in this training Hat Seuss series, which his friends Nick and Sally science adventure where they learn about animals, habitats, and other natural sciences. Check your local PBS for the exact time. Or you can also find episodes of The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about this on DVD and on request.
Although reading is the most obvious and educational way to celebrate b-day Seuss, movies versions of their stories can be educational. TV time, together with reading and interaction between parents can even help children develop communication skills and early reading skills. Expand training further by having the children their own crazy character and write a story rhymes as Dr. Seuss.
