In short, presented in a beautiful 3D animation, tells a story that is both funny and tender time, conveying a moral that our relationship with others is what makes life meaningful. Several moments of danger can be scary for young children, and the film is about the reality of death and loss.

Up - overview
78 year old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen pushed over his limit when the builders threw him out of his own house, where he and his late wife had built their lives. Determined to live a dream and prove to everyone that he does not live in an old house, Carl ties thousands of balloons to his house and goes to Paradise Falls in South America.
Like the thrill of success in sianara decreases, Carl recognizes something terrible: he has a stowaway - Wilderness Explorer named Russell 8 years. Carl is not talkative and get lasting puppy on the floor, and both end up in South America, to Paradise Falls in sight.
During his trip to the waterfalls, Carl and Russell find a strange bird and big names of Russell "Kevin" and a talking dog named Dug who is chasing the bird. Russell wants to keep, but Carl does not want to indicate additional choir. If sent by the master of Dug half a pack of dogs catch the bird, takes Carl travel a new twist.
As it turns out, the dog belonging to Charles Muntz, an adventurer who inspired Carl and Ellie dreams of Paradise Falls. He is looking for the mysterious bird, Kevin, and stop at nothing to capture. Despite his desire to stay out of this big mess, Carl is in the middle. At 78, he is finally understand what life and adventure.

As with most Pixar films, the history can be interpreted on different levels. For small children there is a funny story about an old man, a child, and some silly animals. Children are the colorful decor, the talking dog, and of course the houseboat away with all the balls that love are interconnected.
Slightly older children can some early moments in the film reflects the life of Carl Ellie wants to catch joys and sorrows and death. Tender reflection can bring a tear to the eyes of adults, and reminds us how quickly added the years.
What to reach Carl and Ellie in the many years they have spent together? This is exactly what was built? After Ellie's death, Carl sees his house as a symbol for all that. His journey to Paradise Falls is an attempt to close the book on his great adventure, but made a new adventure has just begun.
Toddlers can through certain scenes of action and danger, especially those vicious dogs scare-looking statements.
